The Hidden Heart is a devised, site-specific theatrical experience designed for Insole Court, Llandaff, Cardiff to immerse audiences. This listed mansion house is packed with a rich history and was once lavishly lived in but tainted by loss and tragedy.
Guests are invited to the party of the centure to enjoy the music and the shining, golden luxury, but as the night darkens the experience becomes, frightening and cruel. The story casts a spotlight on the contrast between the comfortable, status-driven lives of the Insoles and the hazardous, harrowing lives of their exploited mineworkers.Truth rises to the surface to challenge the wilful ignorance of each and every one of us.
